Company Profile
GenoLogics is a leader in the development of open bioinformatics solutions that assist life science research and pharmaceutical laboratories to manage, integrate and analyze vast volumes of scientific and lab data to advance health research and drug discovery. Laboratories benefit from improved accuracy, traceability, and reproducibility of scientific data, real time communication, and increased operational efficiency and speed.
Key Capabilities and Services
GenoLogics’ vision is to be the leader in open bioinformatics solutions with integrated platforms purposed for systems biology. GenoLogics launched Omix Platform as its enabling software platform for systems biology research. Omix Platform is a scalable solution for managing many diverse research lab environments. It provides a unified informatics infrastructure for large research institutes and pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies. It gives laboratories focused on proteomics, genomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics research the ability to implement a lab information and scientific data management system on a common platform, facilitating experimental workflow management, scientific data integration, sharing, and analysis across domains. GenoLogics is extending its product suite and developing lab information and data management systems purposed for these other scientific domains in systems biology.
GenoLogics success as a company has been founded on a commitment to customers, technology innovation and a high performance culture dedicated to continuous improvement.
Current Products
GenoLogics flagship product, Proteus, is purposed for proteomics. More than a workflow solution, it’s a comprehensive and integrated lab, instrument, and scientific data management system that transform the data management process into a sophisticated analytical system that aids research and scientific discovery. GenoLogics is continuing to develop additional platforms and functionality in its software to meet the unique needs of laboratories as proteomics technologies progress from the research lab into commercial drug and clinical diagnostics applications.
Future Products
Building on our success in providing purposed solutions for proteomics researchers, GenoLogics is undertaking the development of a new data management and research workflow solution, purposed for genomics.
GeneusTM is being developed as this purposed solution. Based on our GenoLogics OMIX Platform, Geneus will offer features to accelerate gene expression and genotyping research, improve genomics lab efficiency, manage the vast amounts of data created in genomics research, and provide the opportunity to share data and results across poly-omics research domains.
The Geneus lab information and data management solution will enable the collection, organization, management, and analysis of genomics information, effectively providing researchers with unparalleled opportunities in systems biology research and discovery.
The Geneus features are continually evolving, as gene expression, analysis and genotyping requirements of our customers are defined.
