I'll be honest, I'm worried about this Blog.  To make it worth visiting regularly it has to be rich with interesting content and I think it's best I ask for help.  So I'm looking for guest bloggers to contribute to the VIATeC blog.

Here's some guidelines:

• Let me know what area you would like to cover
  • it should be of interest to tech companies in Greater Victoria
  • pick a theme broad enough that so you won't be too limited but specific enough that they tie together
• It does not have to be a subject you are an expert in
  • perhaps you are new to Victoria and would like to share what it is like joining our community
  • or maybe you are a job seeker and want to share why you want to live and work in Victoria
  • we'd love to have a CEO at a start-up to share their trials and tribulations
  • we are open to your ideas so don't be shy
• If you are a subject matter expert we are looking for content that will help our members run their tech business
  • submissions that talk about why people need experts like you are just too darn salesy
  • submissions that outline things techpreneurs can use today are perfect
  • content laid out as lists are really easy to read so think "Top 5 Things Your Company Can Do Today About X" or "3 Common Mistakes When Implementing Y"
• We are asking guest bloggers to commit to submitting no less than 5 entries so that a theme can be more fully explored and that we get submissions from you at least every 15 days or so
• Run your concept by us before you start writing
  • We work very hard to make sure that we give our members what they want so before you spend your time writing entries give us a quick pitch
  • If we think you have hit the nail on the head will give you the bright green light but if it feels off the mark we will work with you evolve the concept
