BC Cancer Agency - Deeley Research Centre
The BC Cancer Agency's Trev & Joyce Deeley Research Centre (DRC) is located on Vancouver Island in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The DRC is housed in the BC Cancer Agency's Vancouver Island Centre, and serves as a translational research centre that performs "bench-to-bedside" research for patients on Vancouver Island and throughout the province of B.C. Researchers at the DRC are studying how the immune system responds to cancer and how to best enhance this response for preventive and therapeutic purposes. The DRC also houses the PREDICT and Tumour Tissue Repository program, which provide cancer researchers with essential patient specimens for basic and clinical studies.
