The Software Manager Round Table seeks to elevate the practice of Software Management on Vancouver Island through the discussion of best practices, practical solution, quality and innovative ideas. This table is ideally suited for senior software managers who possess years of practical experience/training and are able to participate and contribute at a strategic level.

This meeting is open to round table members only. To be considered for the group, please submit a brief bio (3-4 sentences) that can be forwarded to the Chair for consideration.

VIATeC Round Table Vision

Supporting a well-chosen group of technology industry professionals is VIATeC’s vision for the Round Tables. Our mandate is to support the fostering and growth of the technology industry; ensuring that tech industry professionals are the sole focus of the round tables is in line with our mandate. We encourage the Round Table participants to identify their key areas of interest annually and welcome them to invite guest speakers to address these topics. This allows the group to learn from other industries but maintains the focus on tech companies.

The Round Tables are formed at the request of members. Keeping the round table size manageable and the participants consistent increases trust between the members so that valuable peer sharing can occur. Screening participants so members have a high level of expertise increases the value of the information that is shared and ensures this is truly a gathering of peers.
