~To support early Cancer research and detection in BC~

Come out for a party in the park on Saturday, June 18th! You'll be entertained by the derby races, the remote controlled (RC) car races (and crashes), activities for the kids, a barbecue, beer garden, and live entertainment.

Not only is this year's event going to be bigger and better than ever, but the 6th Annual Canary Derby plans on raising $85,000 for early detection in ovarian, prostate, pancreatic and lung Cancer. The net proceeds will be used to supplement the salaries of three full-time researchers at the Deeley Centre in Victoria, dedicated to this research.

You can help by:

-Putting together a team, building a soapbox car (or taking one of our used ones), raising money and racing;

-Bringing your RC car down on race day, donating, and participating in the obstacle and race courses;

-Donating money to these teams!

-Coming to the Tech Park on June 18th and participating in the activities (or just sit in the beer garden and get a designated driver… preferably with a real car).
