Greater Victoria Angel Network

• The University of Victoria Innovation and Development Corporation (IDC) and the Victoria Advanced Technology Council (VIATeC) are hosting their seventh Greater Victoria Angel Network. This event respects the privacy of local investors and provides information on opportunities for investment in new and existing local high technology companies. Attendance is by invitation only.
o The event showcases 10 emerging tech companies from Victoria and Vancouver. Each company will give a short presentation then will be available for questions. A networking session follows the presentations.

VANTec
• Monthly breakfast pitch session
• Alternates between Tech an Life Sciences focus
• Returns in Oct from summer break, exact date not scheduled yet
• This network consists of VANTEC members, angel investors and other early-stage investors who meet monthly to hear a selected number of short business presentations by nascent technology entrepreneurs. This is not an open forum style of event - it is private and informal. Between 30 and 40 angels typically attend each meeting.
o The objective is to make initial introductions with a view to having interested parties subsequently meet in private. There are no agents, brokers, or institutional representatives.

Angel Forum

• As the oldest & largest angel network in Western Canada with 50+ investors (from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Kelowna, Victoria, Bellingham and Seattle), we are supported by leading organizations in BC and belong to Canada's National Angel Capital Organization and US's Angel Capital Association. Our private meetings are exclusive to only pre-registered Investors, selected Companies and Sponsors. Regretfully no observers.
