How to Post in a Forum
Anyone can respond to an existing forum post. If you'd like to start your own, please read on…
To set up your access
1. If you are a member of VIATeC and your email has been registered by your company:
* Go to www.viatec.ca and click login on the top right
* Above where it says User Account, you will see two tabs "Log In" and "Request a Password". Select "Request a Password" and complete the form
* You will receive an email with a one time login link. This link will prompt you to enter a new password before entering the site.
* Once you are logged in, you will see an orange navigation banner along the top
* Select "My Profile" and "Edit Account Settings"
* Set your password to one of your choosing
* Start posting in the forum
2. If you are a member of VIATeC and your email has NOT been registered:
* Your company CEO or VIATeC liaison will need to add you as a staff member (refer them to instructions in point 4 below). You can then follow the steps above to get your login.
3. If you are not a member of VIATeC
* Contact Ellen Henry at ehenry@viatec.ca and she will set you up with non-member privileges.
4. To add staff to your company membership
Those members of a company who have been designated as a CEO or Liaison have the administration privileges to add staff and manage the company information.
* Using the orange navigation bar at the top go to Company Actions
* Select Add Staff
* Complete the information required, choosing the permissions you would like to give to the new staff member
* Have the new staff member follow Step 1 above to obtain a password
