Reach Technologies Inc. announces sale of airborne Time Code Generators to the Canadian Forces

Reach Technologies Inc., Victoria, BC based manufacturer of telemetry, timing & test equipment announces the sale of additional ruggedised airborne Time Code Generators to the Canadian Forces Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE).

Commenting on the acquisition, Reach Principal Engineer Glenn Jones noted “We are proud to support Canada’s aviation development. Our TCGs were originally developed for AETE and are fast becoming the international standard. Both the German and US Air Forces chose our TCGs this year.”

The Time Code Generator contract was solicited under full and open competition. Contract terms are confidential.

Part of the Canadian Flight Test Centre at 4 Wing Cold Lake, AETE provides flight test services and expertise to the Canadian Forces and other government departments. It conducts flight and ground testing involving every aircraft type in the Canadian Forces inventory, and the evaluation of new systems to be installed on those aircraft. Its extensive infrastructure also supports civil flight testing.
