ICTC to Run eHealth Competency Profile Development Workshop in Victoria
The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) is running a Canada-wide, two-day workshop and will stop in Victoria, BC on April 5th and 6th,
8am - 4:30pm at the Hotel Grand Pacific.
This workshop is targeted to those that have at least two years working experience in HI/HIM and Information and Communications Technology, or are a Manager or HR professional responsible for these occupations.
ICTC is inviting you to translate your professional expertise to help:
- Shape how Canada defines eHealth occupations;
- Provide insights into the nature of tasks that you perform;
- Ensure competency profiles meet eHealth industry needs;
- Demonstrate your commitment to professional development and life-long learning.
Each workshop will begin with a presentation of the project objectives and an orientation session on ICT Competency Profiles. Under the guidelines of the workshop facilitators, participants will work in small groups, reflect on and write competency profiles with the input of like minded people working in the industry.

- Health Information Management;
- Health Systems Integration and Deployment;
- Privacy Officer/Specialist/Consultant;
- Standards Officer/Specialist/Consultant;
- Business Analyst;
- Project Manager.
Admission is free and complementary refreshments and lunch will be provided. Parking and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
