Touchdown Atomic!

Pop the champagne! It's chest bumps and high fives for everyone! Here at Atomic we're still pretty pumped up about winning Online Strategy of the Year at the VIATeC awards this year! We are extremely proud to announce that we won this year's Online Strategy award for our work on the brand new City of Langford website.

Working closely with Langford City staff, we were able to achieve the fantastic (and lofty!) goals they had laid out at the beginning of this comprehensive project. The City prides itself on being on the forefront of municipal technology and they wanted a website that matched their ambition.

We started with our biggest challenge: they wanted a municipal website that they didn't want to look like a municipal website. With that in mind, we created a fresh, exciting new design for them that added a lot of pop while still allowing site visitors to get the wealth of information they need from a municipal website. We mixed in a lot of powerful functionality, including an online business directory, custom photo galleries, an extensive forms & documents library, real-time weather integration and our state-of-the-art content management system, ElementCMS. And that's just for starters!

Considering the strength of competition for this award, we're even more excited and humbled about our win. But not so much that it will stop us from having another small glass of champagne before we get back to work. Chest bump!
