Atomic’s New Website is Ready to Rock!
Hell’s Bells! It’s time to wail on our air guitars in celebration! We are proud to announce the release of our latest and greatest website: The City of White Rock.
With a population of 18,250, White Rock is a breathtaking city located in the southwest corner of the Lower Mainland, forty-five kilometres from Vancouver and only five minutes to the Canada/US border. It is an exciting seaside community clustered around an eight kilometre sandy beach and the warm shallow waters of Semiahmoo Bay.
Since being awarded this great contract in late 2010, we have been takin’ care of business, drumming up a terrific new website for the City. Their new site has a beautiful new design that accentuates the natural beauty of the area, combined with a crisp look that emphasizes the City’s focus on modern technology. Fusing this cutting-edge look and feel with White Rock’s new branding created a bright, energetic new design.
Not just settling for a good-looking website, we have added ample (hard) core functionality, as well. This includes: a custom bylaws module; an integrated garbage calendar; Google translation; RSS feeds; enhanced accessibility; a text-resizer; a bespoke City Spotlight application; user poll functionality; and social media integration. And that’s just to start!
We also integrated the website with our content management system, ElementCMS. This powerful, flexible CMS will ensure that the website is easy to maintain by City staff, thereby providing the twin functions of keeping municipal bills down while keeping the website up-to-the-minute.
