14 'Executives' Jumped into the freezing cold water to help raise money as part of the Food Bank Challenge!
The Harbour Hop took place yesterday (November 23rd) at the Fisherman's Wharf where 14 local tech-sector executives Executives jumped into the harbour as part of their company’s fundraising efforts for the annual Victoria Advanced Technology Council (VIATeC) Food Bank Challenge.
Participants gathered donations internally, as well as from “friends” outside the company, who were eager to see company leaders get soaked.
The 4th annual Harbour Hop -- hosted by Contech Enterprises has raised a total of $13,500 -- the donation will be made to Mustard Seed. The 'Hop' was followed by a delicious BBQ lunch organized by Contech Enterprises. The proceeds from the BBQ lunch will also go to Mustard Seed.
