Recognizing the 9th Annual Food Bank Challenge Leaders!
Each year since its inception in 2003, VIATeC challenges its partner technology companies to compete against each other in an effort to raise as much food and donations as possible for the Mustard Seed Food Bank in time for the Holiday season. The challenge is entering into it's 3rd week and the competition is heating up!
VIATeC recognizes both the company that donates the most food overall as well as the company that donates the most per employee. Participants will be crowned at the Discover Tectoria VIP Reception (invitation only) at the Crystal Garden, and they will be applauded at VIATeC’s Christmas Party at the Bard & Banker… all happening on December 8th!
Since the conception of the VIATeC Food Bank Challenge, $1,253,723 value of food and cash has been donated from Vancouver Island Technology companies. Last year $80,000 in cash and thousands of pounds of food were donated to the Mustard Seed Food Bank… But there’s so much more that we can do!
This year, the competition is on again and we have some fierce competitors that raise the bar every week!
