Tectoria Participates in the Festival of Trees - Robot Style
Victoria, BC, November 23, 2011 – VIATeC joined the festivities yesterday as more than 75 local companies set up for the Festival of Trees at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, in support of BC Children's Hospital.
VIATeC's futuristic robot tree (We like to call him "Robbie"), captures the innovation that is right here in TECTORIA. All of Robbie's parts are hand made right in VIATeC's workshop, and carefully placed to form something that is more than just a Christmas tree… Robbie could just be a mascot for Tectoria! If you look closely, you'll see mini robots within Robbie!
Visit the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria from November 23, 2011 to January 6, 2012 to view the festival of trees and cast your ballot for your favorite tree. You can view the Tectoria tree in the conservatory just off of the Bengal Lounge.
