Gregory K Amlin is a seasoned executive with 25 years of progressive experience in the high tech sector and a reputation for being customer centric.
Born and raised in Windsor ON he started his first company installing and programming business computers in the mid 80s.
In his career he has worked in all facets of software development and information technology. Western Inventory employed Greg to design, implement and manage a process by which thousands of unique inventory data collection programs were written, tested and used by field staff.
An opportunity to serve as Project Manager saw him move to Mobile Computing to administer the largest contract the company had ever secured. Recognizing his talents, he was subsequently promoted to manage their support department. During his tenure, Greg’s customer centric management philosophy improved overall customer satisfaction, increased revenues by 250% and more than doubled operating margins on top line revenue.
Greg’s experience at Mobile Computing led him to TNT Logistics where he managed a 35 server, lights out operations department including help desk services and field technician work across decentralized sites all over North America. TNT’s operations group “wall of fame” received letters of commendation from every single site they managed and resulted in being nominated for TPG’s worldwide best of breed competition.
After several years with TNT, Greg’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to a full time family run toy business and store on eBay. In 2006, he brought his accumulated experience and knowledge to British Columbia and accepted a senior position with Paretologic to oversee product management, operations & support through five years of explosive growth .
