YogiTunes to participate in Yogathon to support Art of Living Foundation

VICTORIA, BC (August 2, 2016) - Victoria yoga music and technology startup, YogiTunes, will be participating in the Yogathon Victoria event on August 20th 9:30am to 2:30pm at Centennial Square.  Yogathon is a global event that happens in over fifty cities, and in ten countries around the world. All proceeds support Care for Children, an initiative of the Art of Living Foundation that helps educate children in underprivileged communities in India. YogiTunes.com is one of the local event sponsors which sees founder Alex King Harris performing as "Rara Avis" throughout the Yogathon. Alex has over 15 years of experience on stage at yoga, dance and music events, and as part of bands Desert Dwellers and Shaman’s Dream. In addition to playing music from the deep and broad YogiTunes catalogue, Rara Avis will perform his own works with live guitar, flute and voice.  Yoga enthusiasts are invited to bring a yoga mat, try the 108 Sun Salutation challenge and Rise for a Cause.
