You will be joining Victoria’s fastest growing product organization that is dedicated to building Workday’s next-generation Employee Experience Technologies. Over the past 3 years, we have built 4 core products at Workday with 2 more on the horizon that we’re very excited about. The team has grown from 13 to 60+ in that same period, and we’re continuing to rapidly grow and scale our presence in Victoria. About the role:
Operations Engineering at Workday is a discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build, run, and deploy large-scale, fault-tolerant systems. We ensure that Workday's services are reliable and performant, in line with the needs of our customers. Please note that this team participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in one or more of: Java, Python, Ruby, or Go.
Experience with Linux systems.
Interest in architecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Systematic problem-solving approach, along with strong communication skills and sense of ownership.
Ability to debug and optimize systems and code, and to automate routine tasks.
Interest in optimizing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
