Workday has an immediate opening for a Product Manager in one of the company’s fastest growing product organizations, Employee Experience Technology. We’re responsible for delivering Workday’s Next Generation UI with a lens focussed on making highly engaging, rich, accessible and dynamic user experiences that span across Workday’s product suite.

About the role:
As a product manager on the mobile team you will contribute to building the strategic product direction for our iOS and Android apps. You will set the product vision and direction by engaging and interviewing customers, reviewing industry research and trends, and identifying key opportunities where our mobile apps can be leveraged. You will then evangelize this vision and our product roadmap both internally and externally - including giving updates to customers, prospects, and partners. Further, you will connect with and support internal stakeholders across product management, engineering, sales, and more.

Work closely with other Product Managers and Engineering to develop product strategy, vision, and long-term product roadmaps
Synthesize customer insights for product teams and Developers to help inform our current product release
Become a product champion and keep many different groups aligned on our product vision and roadmap
Manage customer-facing and internal communications for all new product features and releases
Prepare field teams for go-to-market on our products (sales, services, marketing and partners)
Participate in product discovery sessions with our customers
We’re looking for someone who:
Understands the nuance of building a great mobile product experience
Loves the complexity of working with truly global enterprise customers
Can translate customer insights into actionable and detailed feedback for our development team
Is an outstanding verbal communicator who loves to present to customers and other Workday teams
Enjoys traveling to meet customers and educate internal stakeholders
Is a fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoys a fast paced work environment
Is excellent with time management and can juggle many competing priorities
3+ years of software product management experience
Excellent problem solving skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done
Ability to travel up to a week per month (20-25%)
A background in visual and/or UX design
A technical background with a good understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
Experience developing native mobile (Android/iOS) products, technologies and platforms
