Canadian Business and Maclean’s have ranked FreshWorks Studio 7th on the 2019 Startup 50 ranking of Canada’s Top New Growth Companies. Serving as a companion list to the longstanding Growth 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies and produced by Canada’s premier business and current affairs media brands, the Startup 50 ranks younger companies on two-year revenue growth.

“The 2019 Startup 50 winners suggest the future of Canadian entrepreneurship is extremely bright. They have brought new offerings to market, created indelible brands and disrupted established business models—all in an extremely short period of time,” says Beth Fraser, Startup 50 and Growth 500 program manager. “Any aspiring entrepreneur should look to their stories for inspiration.”

“On the 2018 Startup 50 ranking we were No. 30, and this year we came in at No. 7,” says Sam Mod, FreshWorks Studio CEO. “It has been an exciting journey again this year and our team will continue to work hard to create the best digital solutions for our clients. Being recognized by such an established organization is very humbling and I believe it reflects the strength and dedication of our team.”

Ranking on the Startup 50 is only one of the list of awards the Vancouver Island based company took home this year. Among others are the Viatec Employer of the Year award and the Company of the Year - Growth Success awarded by the BC Tech Association at the Technology Impact Awards. Earlier this year, FreshWorks Studio co-founder Sam Mod was also presented with the Entrepreneur award at the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards.
