Event Calendar Submissions
Events are a key way for VIATEC to support its members—by sharing knowledge, celebrating wins and opportunities to network.
REQUIREMENTS:
VIATEC MEMBER EVENTS are subject to approval by VIATEC and must meet the following criteria:
- Events must be submitted at least 3 weeks in advance
- A contact person must be listed with an email address
- A registration link must be listed within the description
- In the description, please include bullet points outlining "What you’ll experience" or "What you'll learn"
- The event must benefit the local tech sector:
- Examples include:
- Technical or entrepreneurial skills training,
- Positively promotes the importance or impact of our local tech community,
- Is clearly aimed at bringing together the local tech community, as opposed to a general audience
- Examples include:
- If you have a multi-part event series, please group them together in one submission (listing all dates and registration links, with the start and end date applied).
NON-MEMBER EVENTS are subject to approval by VIATEC and must meet the following criteria:
- Must meet the criteria listed above (under "VIATEC Member events")
- It needs to be a free community event, or,
- Include an exclusive VIATEC Member discount
- Only ONE event per month can be submitted (if it's a multi-part series over a month, please include all dates and info within one event submission, with the start and end date applied)
- Preference will be given to events organized by groups or entities registered as not-for-profit / for-purpose organizations related to technology and/or can demonstrate accountability via an elected board/committee.
